The Jacksonville State University Chapter of PDK recognized five High School seniors in a ceremony Thursday April 26, 2007 at the International House. PDK scholarship winners were Ms. Hillary D. Hayes of Albertville High School, Albertville, Al. and Ms. Allison K. Hill of Grissom High School, Huntsville, Al. Rewarded for their community service were Ms. Magan R. Calhoun of Wellborn High School, Anniston, Al, Ms. Haley B. Pittman, Fyffe High School, Fyffe, Al, and Mr. Joshua C. Taylor of White Plains High School, Anniston Alabama. Each award recipient received a plaque and a check. Accepted for initiation into PDK were Dr. Celia Hilber, JSU, Ms. Tiffany L. Dodd, Boaz Al, Mr. Zachery, H. Hazelwood, Cartersville, Ga., Mr. Thomas F. Papworth, Gadsden, Al, and Ms. Patricia W. Trammell, Roanoke, Al. The presentation of the PDK Graduation Medallion to Ms. Patricia W. Trammell was by Dr. Gina Riley. The formal initiation of these new PDK members will be in the fall.
